The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands stands out among compact SUVs like the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and Subaru Forester Wilderness by combining robust off-road capability with premium comfort features, all backed by a clean CARFAX and one-owner history.

Shoppers weighing the Bronco Sport Badlands against rivals will appreciate its balance of ruggedness and everyday usability. The SUV is particularly well-suited for those who demand confident traction in all weather conditions, whether navigating snowy Illinois winters or exploring weekend trails. Families and outdoor enthusiasts benefit from the flexible Cargo Management System and Class II Trailer Tow Package, while the one-owner, accident-free history provides peace of mind not always matched by competitors. If your shortlist includes adventure-ready crossovers, the Bronco Sport Badlands delivers a compelling mix of capability and assurance.

While the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk offers a V6, the Bronco Sport Badlands’s EcoBoost 2.0L I4 Turbocharged engine and 8-speed automatic transmission deliver brisk acceleration with responsive power delivery, complemented by a sophisticated 4WD system. This setup excels in both urban and off-road conditions, letting drivers transition seamlessly from city commutes to rugged landscapes. Its four-wheel independent suspension and advanced traction control provide stability on uneven surfaces, while standard features like trail sway control enhance towing confidence and overall handling.

Safety is a key differentiator for the Bronco Sport Badlands, which includes standard equipment like Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Parking Sensors, ABS brakes, and SYNC 3 911 Assist. Unlike some competitors that charge extra for these technologies, this SUV delivers them as part of its robust standard package. The Auto High-beam Headlights and Electronic Stability Control further contribute to driver confidence, especially in low-visibility or slippery conditions. These features work together to offer comprehensive active safety, making it a safer option for families and daily commuters.

The Bronco Sport Badlands comes equipped with a Premium Package that enhances comfort and convenience, featuring leather-trimmed heated sport contour bucket seats, a power moonroof, dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control, and a wireless charging pad. The SYNC 3 system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration ensures seamless connectivity, while the Remote Start System and heated steering wheel provide comfort in every season. Additional thoughtful touches include memory driver's seat and sideview mirror, HD Radio, and a universal garage door opener, elevating the driving experience beyond basic transportation.

In direct comparison to the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and Subaru Forester Wilderness, the Bronco Sport Badlands excels with its standard 4WD, more advanced tech amenities, and a Gold Certified one-owner, accident-free pedigree.

Why choose the Bronco Sport Badlands over others? Its Gold Certified status means rigorous inspection and a transferable 7-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty from the original in-service date, which few competitors match. What does it offer that rivals don’t? Standard heated leather seats, advanced SYNC 3 connectivity, and a flexible cargo system come included.

Experience the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands in person at Ford of Homewood, located at 3233 183rd St. Homewood, IL 60430. Call 708-356-9308 to schedule your test drive and discover why this Gold Certified SUV is the standout choice among adventure-ready crossovers.

      Automatic brake

by Tracy on 8/18/2026 1:27:05 PM

Love my vehicle runs good and not noisy like some of the previous year models; but the automatic pre Collison break came on yesterday and hurt my back/neck; plus almost got in a wreck with and 18 wheeler from behind because of the automatic break. Do not pull to close behind another vehicle or the pre collision automatic break will come on and jerk you.…

      Diffrent and fun

by Michael on 6/26/2026 10:59:58 AM

We've only had our 2025 Bronco Sport four months. And so far so great. With 6k+ miles it's been on an eighteen hundred mile trip that include mountain driving. The performance and handling has been great and the fuel efficiency is averaging 32 mpg since it rolled off the lot (I'm a conservative driver but not the guy you hate being behind on the road). We especially like the retro style. In today's market, the smaller SUV's for the most part look the same (jelly beans on wheels). The square finish and safari roof really sets the Bronco Sport apart. The 3 cylinder turbo engine was tough to process. However, it's an engine that delivers plenty of peep off the line and passing power on the freeway. It's won this skeptic over! The interior is roomy and comfortable. The controls and gauges are intuitive. The safety driving package is amazing along with the 5 star "safety" rating. This vehicle cost less to insure then our nine year old Ford Focus with identical coverage. If you want something that's diffrent in the SUV class, fun to drive, and that will turn heads, then the the Bronco Sport is it.…
