The 2025 Ford Bronco Badlands is a feature-rich SUV that immediately stands out for its blend of performance, technology, and standard equipment. Equipped with a 2.7L EcoBoost V6 engine, 10-speed automatic transmission, and 4WD, it’s designed to handle diverse conditions with ease.

This SUV targets thoughtful shoppers who want comprehensive capability and comfort without the hassle of costly upgrades. The Bronco Badlands is especially well-suited for those in regions with unpredictable weather, such as around Homewood, IL, where standard 4WD and heated amenities address seasonal changes. Families, commuters, and outdoor enthusiasts benefit from its versatile design, which unites daily usability with off-road readiness. The robust standard feature set means buyers spend less time sorting through add-ons and more time enjoying a vehicle primed for both city streets and rugged escapes.

Under the hood, the Bronco Badlands’ 2.7L EcoBoost V6 delivers a responsive and confident driving experience, paired seamlessly with a 10-speed automatic transmission for smooth acceleration and efficient gear changes. Real-world driving impressions reveal strong low-end torque that aids in highway merging and urban maneuvering, while the 4WD system ensures stable traction in challenging conditions. Whether tackling adverse weather, exploring unpaved roads, or commuting through traffic, this SUV’s powertrain is engineered for both durability and everyday practicality, providing an ideal balance for those who value both performance and reliability.

Safety is a central focus, with Ford Co-Pilot360 included as standard equipment. This suite brings together blind spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and automatic emergency brakingâ€"features that help prevent common collisions and support attentive driving. Electronic stability control enhances the SUV’s handling on slippery surfaces, while rear parking sensors aid in tight parking scenarios. By integrating these technologies without requiring extra packages, the Bronco Badlands empowers drivers with essential real-world protection, making daily journeys more secure and stress-free.

The Equipment Group 332A Mid Package elevates comfort and convenience by adding dual-zone automatic climate control, a heated steering wheel, and integrated navigation. Bluetooth connectivity keeps drivers linked to their devices, and rear parking sensors simplify city parking. This cohesive package means owners enjoy premium features as standard, with no hidden costs. The Oxford White exterior and Black Onyx interior reflect a thoughtful design approach, resulting in an SUV that is both functional and visually appealing straight from the dealership.

Compared to segment competitors like the Jeep Wrangler and Toyota 4Runner, the Bronco Badlands offers a quieter, more refined cabin and a richer array of standard features. Where others may restrict advanced driver assistance or comfort amenities to higher trims, the Bronco makes them accessible from the outset.

What are the key features of this SUV? The Bronco Badlands comes standard with dual-zone climate control, a heated steering wheel, navigation, Bluetooth, advanced safety tech, and a 2.7L EcoBoost V6 with 4WD. How does it perform in daily driving? It delivers smooth power, responsive handling, and secure traction for both commuting and rugged trips.

I spent months reading reviews comparing the Jeep Wrangler and the Ford Bronco. The general consensus was the Bronco is easier to live with as a daily driver. I purchased a Bronco 1.5 years ago to consolidate my SUV and Convertible into one vehicle. It's been a dream to own thus far. Highs +Adaptive cruise control, easy to move down the freeway with minimal effort + Steering - nicely weighted, even after 40k miles goes down road in straight line +Styling - people always tell me how sharp the Bronco looks +Top down - awesome to put 4 other people in and hit the road +Removing hard top - not difficult, can be done by one person +Snow - feels secure and planted in NE Ohio winter snow +Comfort - Seats are great for long road trips +Stereo - Bang and O stereo sounds fantastic +Controls - thankful for buttons and not just screens +Gas Mileage - can average in the low-mid 20's if driven cautiously + Seat warmers - hot hot hot +Room - feels much less cramped inside than Jeep Wrangler Lows -Wind Noise can be pronounced, but not anything I can't live with -Hard top is sensitive, be careful removing it you can scratch and damage it -Windshield - because of steep angle, they like to get chipped / cracked -Interior - materials look a little cheap for a 55k vehicle (except seats = so nice) -2.3L engine - doesn't sound great, but does a great job of moving you forward If you're going to be a commuter, I recommend the Outer Banks model because it comes with the least aggressive tires. It also has body colored fender flares and just looks fantastic. I bought a black one with the black painted hard top. It is quite the looker. Also, get the High/Lux package so you get the Bang and Olfusen stereo, 360 degree camera, and adaptive cruise control. I usually change vehicles every 1-2 years, but I absolutely love this one and plan to keep it until the new model comes out. The fact that it was designed and built in America also speaks to me. The Bronco community and number of people that admire this vehicle will really surprise you. After nearly 40,000 miles I am firmly in the Bronco camp and plan to stay here for awhile!

I have a 2024 Ford Bronco Outer Banks with the 2.3L. No issues at all. Drove it across country and it was comfortable. I bought mine with a hard top because I live in a climate with snow and wanted more security. I would recommend it.
